Have Questions?
We Have Answers-
Is there a time limit for handling legal matters?
Yes. However, legal deadlines vary depending on the field of law and the specifics of your case. These time limits are known as statutes of limitations. For example, the Ohio statute of limitations for personal injury cases is two years—meaning that you have two years from the date of your injury to file a claim. For workers’ comp, the time limit is only one year. No matter what your issue, we highly recommend that you talk to a lawyer sooner rather than later. The earlier an attorney can start working for you, the better off you will be and the stronger your case.
-
How much does it cost to hire a lawyer?
We offer free consultations to all clients and generally charge on a contingency fee basis, so typically you do not have to pay us anything unless we win your case and make a recovery for you. The contingency fee does not apply to criminal defense, however. If you have any questions about payment, please give us a call. We are happy to explain everything to you over the phone, and there is no obligation to work with us if you decide our payment structure is not right for you.
-
Why should I hire a lawyer?
Most people don’t have a thorough understanding of the law and legal procedures—a lawyer will bridge that gap. Aside from lifting that burden off your shoulders, a lawyer can investigate your case, gather evidence, represent you in court, help you file paperwork correctly, give you legal advice. and more. Our main goal is to make the process as easy and painless for you as possible. We provide free, no-obligation case evaluations, so after our initial meeting, you are welcome to decide whether our firm is right for you.
